I LOVE Florida Design Magazine - Miami

We were recently graced with the honor of being published in the 2010 Winter Issue if Florida Design Magazine, which is super exciting to me, because I am a huge home/decor nerd.  The top and bottom images on the right hand side are Ben and mine.  We got to work with the phenomenal Astrid DeGuiceis on the top job and the absolutely lovely Bernice Nathans on the bottom.  And I have to send a shout out to Ed Johnston from Built By Owner (yes, my dad) for being the radical guy that he is.  Images from two of his jobs were published in the same issue, which was a total coincidence and totally cool.

Thank you to our client FineDesign Interiors for your ceaselessly stellar caliber of work - http://www.fdinteriors.com

Yes, I abandoned ship...but here's to second chances!

SO, I had great intentions to have an oft updated photography blog.  Then I changed blog host, yada yada,    life, travels & photography occurred...long story, I'm reasserting my good intentions and hope to keep the world (or at least my lovely few friends) updated as to my ever changing adventures.  Above is me trying not to get tossed off the dinghy & protecting my camera while riding between shooting spots.

Just another day for MacClay

Talk about an adventurous life.  MacClay just turned 13 last month, and it seems to me that a day in the pool shooting pictures is probably the most boring day he's had this week (ok, well that's not exactly true, it was pretty fun).  Growing up on a boat in the Bahamas, he divides his time between diving, treasure hunting, spearfishing, sailing and being all around cool, and he still manages to find time for algebra and fine-tuning underwater superhero moves.  One of these days we are going to hire him as our assistant because we is an amazing photographer himself, above the water and below!  Next time I see him we will have to showcase a few of his outstanding images of the Caribbean.
